FAULKNER DOC TO DEBUT IN TOKYO
ON JUNE 29, 2025
We have been invited by the William Faulkner Society of Japan to premiere "Faulkner: The Past Never Dead" in Tokyo at their conference celebrating the 70th anniversary of Faulkner's visit to Japan. This amazing event takes place in June 2025. We will also be filming our second documentary called "Faulkner's Fusion: Godzilla, the Atomic Bomb & Literature".

Fun Fact: Writer-Director Michael Modak-Truran's only appearance in the doc is as the wedding photographer.
As part of our outreach campaign, the Faulkner documentary screened at selected film festivals, conference and events in the United States, Canada, Ireland, Japan, and Bulgaria.
